I realize that we have not been as active as I originally created ,but it has been a lot of changes since our Mother Ship site http://www.songwriterslounge.net was attacked by the Kardash. I will explain later about what happened ,and the present status of the site. Since then a few changes have been put in place. I am now entertainment editor of an established newspaper in Niagara Falls NY ,called The Niagara Falls Reporter.
Let introduce myself to you :My name is Gerald G Ralston and just celebrated my 71 birthday,and I have been involved in the internet since the early 1990′s ,I got my fist computer in the 1980′s it was a Timex /Sinclair it cost about $49.00 and and was a gift from my mom she got at the supermarket. After that it was a
Radio Shack Computer ,and Commadore 64 to to a mac SE and finally a good PC . At present time I just received a iPad ( whow) what a great tool of today’s trade. With new advances in storage i have finally learned about iCloud and more.

A BIT OF CURRENT HISTORY
Being in the music industry for many years ,since age 15 ,I have been many names of bands and lead singers.I will go more indepth about my timeline of entertainment ,now I perform as Willy Orbison. I do a mix of Roy Orbison and Willie Nelson and assorted 50 classic stars.
WORKING WITH SENIORS
I also try to distribute my talents to a Senior market teaching guitar at the local Senior Center in my Town of Amherst New York. One of my students i have been teaching for the past year Galina ,just did a celebration at the Center for all the seniors to celebrate there birthdays in July and August.
Recently I have tried to assist my good friend Norm Skulski with his radio show titled “Polish Blood” heard every Sunday on WXRL 1300 am radio. He features a wide variety of talents of all ages and brings the show to a location like The Broadway Market to provide a live show to his audiences. Recently I have been capturing audio and videos of his show and the assorted talents.

Who has been the high light Lancaster Dunn Tire Speedway events with 2 shows so far this year .Flying Jimmy Elvis main event was him crashing through a camper in flames ,not once but two times in a row as seen below,followed by skid cars ,campers and boat race and finally the demolution derby. For the special day that welcomes the patrons to the Speedway for the day ,He drove a motor cycle through flaming walls ,He reported He will be doing another show with more excitement soon.We will keep you informed  it will be at Duntire Raceway in one of his Crashmania shows to be announced

I found a new venue via a contact Brian B of the reorganized
White Chocolate Band I got to see in Lockport with my music associate
Russ Costillia and Ray Byrd at Attitudes  I recently covered this fantastic high energy band in a music feature in the Niagara Falls Reporter  as seen in the link above. I was invited to perform at the open mike at The Market House from Nicole the owner on a tues night.

OPEN MIKE IN NIAGARA FALLS
Receiving a warm welcome from the two new members Matt and Stacy who also are members of Triadd another group..The instruments are just a guitar and keyboard , but have a full band sound .I started out with a song I really love as it brings back so many memories of my days in California during what is referred to as The Haight Asbery  Hippy days  San Fransico music scene and sounds. The song was “For what its worth “ Lots have changed since the time the Buffalo Springfield did the song ,adding a new verse to the song that went like this.

What a field day for the heat,10,000 homeless people in the streets ,singing songs and carrying sign saying “Feed me I’m hungery won’t you give me a dime” Funny how things have changed over the years. Next I shared a fun song I created in the late 70′s titled “It’s a comic book world “ a song that seems to go over for any age from kids to seniors. I also got to do a harmony blues song “Bright Lights big city”  with a female Julliana  that was at the open mike. Then my signature dating song ” Miss Right “ about a man looking for the ideal girl. Well via that night ,and meeting a few new friends
